Field Hockey

The Providence College Club Field Hockey had its most successful season to date in the Fall of 2022. The team was undefeated during the regular season and was ranked as high as 4th in the Nation. The team has qualified for the National Championships numerous times. We are members of the National Field Hockey League. Although there are no official games in the spring the team participates in scrimmages. All Providence College students are welcome to try out for the team, regardless of playing experience or gender. Tryouts will be held in the beginning of the school year for the competitive team!

Sunday, September 7th: 6:30pm

Monday, September 8th: 6:30pm

Tuesday, September 9th: 6:30pm

Mondays: 7pm

Wednesdays: 6:30pm

Home: Sunday, September 21st vs URI, Location – Lennon Family Field, Time – 4:30pm

Home: Sunday, September 28th vs UConn, Location – Lennon Family Field, Time – 4:30pm

Home: Sunday, October 5th vs Quinnipiac, Location – Lennon Family Field, Time – 1pm

Home: Sunday, October 19th vs Tufts & Brown, Location – Lennon Family Field, Time – 1pm, 2:45pm, 4:30pm

Home: Sunday, October 26th vs UVM, Location – Lennon Family Field, Time – 4:30pm

Home: Sunday, November 2nd vs Fairfield & UMass, Location – Lennon Family Field, Time – 12pm & 4:30pm

*All students planning to tryout for the team must be registered on imleagues.com/providence, join the “Field Hockey Tryout” team, and complete the required waivers prior to stepping on the field.
