Field Hockey

The Providence College Club Field Hockey had its most successful season to date in the Fall of 2022. The team was undefeated during the regular season and was ranked as high as 4th in the Nation. The team has qualified for the National Championships each of the past two seasons. We are members of the National Field Hockey League. Although there are no official games in the spring the team participates in scrimmages. All Providence College students are welcome to try out for the team, regardless of playing experience or gender. Tryouts will be held to split the team into competition team members and practice team members.

TRYOUTS: Wednesday 9/4 at 6pm, Thursday 9/5 at 6pm & Thursday 9/12 at 5pm, on Lennon Field
*All students planning to tryout for the team must be registered on imleagues.com/providence, join the “Field Hockey Tryout” team, and complete the required waivers prior to stepping on the field.

Fall 2024 Game Schedule:

9/22 – Home vs Northeastern @ 4:30pm (Lennon Field)

9/27- Home vs UMass Amherst @ 6:30pm (Lennon Field)

9/29 – Home vs Holy Cross @ 12:00pm (Lennon Field)

10/20 – Home vs UVM @ 12:00pm (Lennon Field)

10/20 – Home vs Brown @ 3:00pm (Lennon Field)

10/27 – Home vs Quinnipiac @ 12:00pm (Lennon Field)
