Softball

The Providence College Club Softball team is a member of the National Club Softball Association (NCSA). As a member of the New England-South region, we play against teams including Northeastern University, The University of Massachusetts – Amherst, The University of Connecticut, and The University of Rhode Island. We practice throughout the entire academic year on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00-6:30 on Glay Softball Field. Our games (double & triple headers) are played on the weekends. Go Friars!

Fall 2024 Tryouts: Tues 9/10; Wed 9/11; & Thu 9/12 – 5-7pm, Glay Softball Field
*All students planning to tryout for the team must be registered on imleagues.com/providence, join the “Softball Tryout” team, and complete the required waivers prior to stepping on the field.

Fall 2024 Game Schedule:

9/29 – Home vs Sacred Heart @ 11:00am, 1:00pm & 3:00pm (Glay Field)

11/03 – Home vs Merrimack @ 11:00am, 1:00pm & 3:00pm (Glay Field)
